Calcium Level Correction
We test your water and adjust calcium hardness to keep your pool balanced and clear.
Calcium buildup in Montgomery pools is real, especially in our hard-water area. We test your calcium levels, then add or remove calcium as needed to get you in the 200-400 ppm range. Too much calcium clouds water and damages equipment. Too little causes corrosion. We get it right.
High heat and sun in Texas speed up calcium precipitation. We come out, run a full water test, and decide if you need a calcium increaser or a dilution treatment. Some pools need both over a season. We handle it without draining your pool unless absolutely necessary.
You get clear water that won't etch your plaster or clog your filter. Your equipment lasts longer. No guessing about whether your water is balanced. We document the levels and show you the numbers.
About calcium level correction
How often do I need calcium correction?
It depends on your water source and how much you backwash. Most Montgomery pools need it checked every 3 to 6 months. We'll tell you when it's drifting out of range.
Will this service drain my pool?
No. We use chemical adjustments first. A full drain is only necessary if calcium is severely high, which is rare. We'll let you know upfront if that's the case.
What happens if I ignore high calcium?
Your water gets cloudy, your filter clogs faster, and your plaster and tile can etch or scale. Equipment corrosion speeds up too. It's cheaper to fix it early than replace a pump.
